First Year Birthday for Healing with Nature

Filed under: Uncategorized — hygienehealth @ 12:01 am

It’s already one year since this Natural Hygiene blog first started! I can’t believe the feedback I have been hearing from people who are living the Natural Hygiene way. The non NH people all complain of pains, aches, tiredness, sicknesses, etc., even my coworker is now undergoing treatments for brain cancer and still he continues to live far far off of an NH lifestyle.

Everyone else who is living within NH laws is commenting to me that life is great, they look forward to the next challenge and day. For some that challenge is a 200 mile bike ride just for fun, or a 3 hour workout at the gym. I used to wonder why some people seem to be so full of energy and are so able to cope with everything, now I am one of them.

When I look around at the non participants I really do not understand how they continue on with their miserable life walking around with 30 - 200 extra pounds on their body, breathing heavy just to walk maybe 20 feet. They seem to only look forward to eating their toxic lunches or 5PM to go home and eat more toxins.

I would like to hear more comments from readers who have stories of how NH has changed their life. If you send me your story, I will post it up on this blog for the rest of the world to read. Don’t worry, I will not post your name or any personal information to identify you. I just want to hear encouraging stories about life with natural hygiene. Please send me your stories. My email is sotb at rocket mail dot com (replace the words with the punctuation and remove the spaces). I look forward to reading your mail. Please excuse the photo of the toxic cake, I couldn’t find a photo of a raw fruit cake.

What is Radical or ‘Way out’?

Filed under: Diet, Nutrition — hygienehealth @ 12:38 pm

Ever since I have known about natural hygiene and health I have had several opportunities to explain it to others. I will never talk about natural hygiene with a layman or the average person as they are just way too brainwashed by the world to even accept one word I say. I will only even say something about it when I am asked by someone who is truely curious or even already steering towards a healthier lifestyle.

A few times there have been people who were curious about my diet and I have told them a few things. Sometimes the feedback I get from people when they hear about this is that what I am doing is ‘radical’ or ‘too radical’, or one person even said it was ‘way out’. Just for the record here, let’s examine this. Okay, so what does radical mean?

Here is one definition of radical: thoroughgoing or extreme, esp. as regards change from accepted or traditional forms: a radical change in the policy of a company.  I will concentrate on the word extreme here. Are the accepted or traditional ways of life not extreme in themselves? Is lining up at a fast food restaurant for 30 minutes and then ordering a meal deal which includes no natural food in it’s natural state whatsoever not extreme? Is that so accepted that we forget what we are really doing? Eating 12 fresh ripe and organic bananas is extreme and radical?

I think something is very backwards here. I eat foods that have been produced by nature and when they are at their peak ripe and digestible state. Most people eat foods that have no resemblance to what nature created and they can’t even tell what the food was when it was in nature. My meals consist of one food for the entire meal.

Most people’s meals contain probably parts of 20 to 100 different foods, even a burger has the meat from as many as 20 to 30 cows and other animals. Which one is radical? A simple meal with one food or a processed mess of toxic ingredients from unknown sources with as many as 100 inputs and including heavy doses of salt and condiments to give it a flavor.

Another person who is actually a popular nutritionist mentioned that my diet is ‘way out there’, this diet of one fruit at a time for a meal when they were recommending eating commercial yogurt. Commercial yogurt is made from cows milk, which in itself is not even a food fit for anything but the calf of the cow that is producing the milk. No animal in nature consumes another’s milk, and especially never after they are weaned off of their mother’s milk. Commercial milk also contains tons of anti-biotics, hormones and a lot of other toxins due to the traditions of the dairy farms.

Besides the fact that milk is not a suitable food at all for humans, this milk is left to spoil. That’s right, yogurt is actually spoiled milk. Eating yogurt is like buying fresh milk at the grocery store and then leaving it on the counter in your home for a couple of weeks to spoil and then consuming it. Eventhough milk is not a food suitable for humans, logically wouldn’t it make more sense to consume it when it is fresh and chilled instead of waiting until it spoils and rots?

Also of course to hide the disgusting taste of the spoiled milk, there are chemical additives and condiments added to the yogurt. Which is more ‘way out there’? The banana meal or the one with commercial yogurt? You decide!

Going for a Colonoscopy?

Filed under: Diet, Nutrition, Healing — hygienehealth @ 1:50 am

The medical procedure called a colonoscopy, which is the use of a flexible tube with a camera lens at the end to survey the inside of a person’s colon, is becomming more and more popular these days. You hear the media, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and most everybody else talking about colonoscopies these days. They always say that having one is a good thing and never that it is a bad thing.

Why is this? Actually the doctors and nurses as well as the medical instrument companies have a lot to gain if people start going for these procedures more. The doctors who perform these procedures earn about 2 to 6 thousand dollars for about 10 to 15 minutes of their time. If you ever had one of these you can just check the detailed bill that you will get from the hospital or the center that performed the procedure on you. Even if it was paid by your insurance company, you can still request the detailed bill.

Of course the hospital, the pharmaceutical companies who make the drugs that you are given along with the procedure also benefit. The media obviously gets a lot of advertising business from these guys as well so they will never be heard saying something negative about a colonoscopy. It’s all one sided. The real story is very different from all that. Of course many people have been contracting colon cancer recently due to their own lifestyle choices.

Every person born with a functional colon will never get colon cancer as long as they take care of their colon. This is where the problem lies, taking care of your colon is actually very simple and all you need to do is follow the diet, exercise, sunshine, and other recommendations given on this blog. Most people unfortunately do not do what is recommended here on this blog and instead opt to consume a diet that is similar to the standard western or American diet which is filled with items that are not even compatible with any living body let alone the human body.

Almost all of these items are considered toxins by the body and are tagged for removal. The problem is that the removal organs are overwhelmed with work due to this as well as the usual metabolic waste that comes naturally from life. They can not remove all of the toxins in a timely manner and these toxins end up being stored in many places in the body. Toxins eventually cause changes to cells and these changes can become cancerous. It is really simple, no toxins in and the workload of the elimination organs is back to normal, which means you will not have any toxins stored in the body and therefore no changes to cells and no cancer.

Besides the above, there are many other problems with colonoscopies. For one, these instruments are very complex. They contain lenses and delicate photosensitive devices. These devices are sensitive to heat and they can not be put in an autoclave for disinfection. That means many of the parts of the scope used for a colonoscopy are cleaned by hand. The people who clean them are not the doctors or nurses but they are at a level equal to about a janitor. These people earn very little money and are given the responsibility to clean equipment that can pass on very dangerous microbes from one person to another. This is all a great recipe for disaster.

Another problem is the possibility that your colon may perforate due to the tremendous stress from a piece of equipment that is not expected to be inserted from the rectum. In fact the human body is not designed to accept anything in from the rectum. The colon and rectum is made for one purpose and that is to expel waste from the food we eat to the outside of the body and not for any other purpose. The equipment itself can cause perforation, or it can be your friendly doctor who had one too many cups of coffee or had a big argument with his boss a few minutes before the procedure.

Also there is a force of air that is sent through the scope so that the pictures can be taken of the colon. The air can also cause many problems from perforation to extreme gas pains and other issues. The medications that are usually offered to patients who undergo this test also are very toxic. They can cause many side effects.

The procedure can also cause severe internal bleeding as the doctor will usually take biopsies throughout your colon with a very sharp instrument that he feeds into the scope. This bleeding can be difficult or even impossible to stop and can lead to an unexpected operation right there on the spot or even worse, death. Other problems are the loss of beneficial flora and fauna in your colon which can lead to many other illnesses as well as pain and indigestion when eating.

The risks of colonoscopies (perforation up to 1/139, heavy bleeding up to 1/37, death up to 1/3000) :

If you are consuming a healthy natural diet without the huge toxic load and you exercise and follow the natural hygiene way of life you really should not have a colonoscopy done, no matter what your doctor tells you or the neighbor or anyone else. It can only do more harm than good. If you do not follow the natural hygiene regime then it’s about time to start and stop worrying about unnatual invasive tests done by greedy doctors and endorsed by greedy media tycoons as well as the big pharmaceutical corporations.
