When is it Time to Quit?

Filed under: Relationships — hygienehealth @ 6:04 pm

No, not your job but a relationship. When you are in a relationship with someone and they are casuing you some serious problems like sleepless nights, anxiety, negative thoughts, consumption of toxic foods, drugs, tobacco etc. then it is something you need to take a closer look at and decide if there is something you could do to help the situation. You need to see a third neutral party to discuss your side of the situation and see if they can give you some feedback about what steps you need to take.

Spend some time alone and ask yourself if you are staying in the situation for the right reasons or if you would be better off leaving and getting back to a life that is free of anxiety. If you feel there is something that you can do to persuade the other party to make some compromises then set up a time to speak to them and discuss this. Give it a time limit like 30 days or 60 days and then be sure that you are ready to take action and threaten the action.

If you are suffering in a poor relationship then even living the healthiest lifestyle with all of the correct inputs will cause undue harm to your health. Even people who seem to live a very unhealthy existence often do not get sick often when they have a good support net around them filled with people who they love and love them.

This is one area of natural hygiene that is often neglected, especially in this modern world of technology where we spend more time chatting and emailing than we spend in person with most of the contacts in our life. Do yourself a big favor and get ready to do whatever is necessary to make those relationships positive and nurturing because a negative relationship is as bad a eating toxic food and taking toxic drugs to the body.

Our body manufactures many chemicals which can do devastating harm to ourselves just from thoughts and feelings. If you are in that kind of a situation and you do not see a successful change to it in the near future then the best thing is to get out and quit, your health will improve and then you can find a much healthier situation which will be a positive factor in your overall health.

Cellular Telephones

Filed under: Healing — hygienehealth @ 12:42 am

Okay, here is a new topic for today. Everybody reading this must either have one of these modern conveniences or at least has used one. They are actually quite new to our culture as the newest technology cellular telephones have only been in use for at most 15 years. There is not a lot of history to really know much about the health effects of cellular telephones. If you did a search for information on the topic you will likely get a lot of information that says there are no known risks with cellular telephone use.

Is that a surprise? Let’s see, there are about 210 to 250 million of these buggers in people’s hands just here in the USA. There must be at least as many or more in the hands of people outside the USA. Most people will not question the safety of cellular telephones and just continue to use them every day for hours and hours.

Do you think there is a lot at stake here? In the USA the monthly service charges average about 40 to 50 US dollars. Just a ballpark figure for the total annual revenues from these gadgets is about 150 billion US dollars a year. Nothing to sneeze at, is it? Would you say that there is motivation to have studies indicating that cellular telephones are safe? I think so.

It’s very easy to fix a study and have the outcome say just what the promoters of the study wanted it to say at the outset. This is done in most every industry and in most every medical study. The way the study is set up and the pool of individuals can change the results of the study to look most any way you want.

Do these studies really prove anything? Not really, except that some very wealthy people wanted to keep things as they are so they try to calm people into thinking something is safe when it may not be. Most every electronic device creates an electronic magnetic frequency field around it. This goes for even very weak devices such as electric shavers, those new fangled electric toothbrushes, flashlights and the like.

A cellular telephone however has a special antenna that is meant to reach the nearest cell tower which can be as far as 7 miles away. If the power to reach 7 miles is put up against one of the most sensitive parts of the body (your head) you can bet that there will be some effect to your living tissues. The frequencies that cellular telephones transmit are close to the same ones that are emitted by a microwave oven.

Most microwave ovens are sealed with special seals which prevent the radiation from escaping the oven. They always have a steel grid with small holes in it to stop the waves from going through the clear window in the front. If so much protection is afforded to the microwave oven then why is the cellular phone considered safe when it is right up against your head? Would you put your head inside the microwave oven? If you want to read more about the cellular telephone and safety here is an imporant link:

Are Diets Individual?

Filed under: Diet — hygienehealth @ 3:26 pm

The topic today is about diets. There are so many diets that people have written about, created, tried, went on and went off etc. I think that the diet market is one of the largest money making markets in the world. Many have written books on every kind of diet that can be imagined. There are diets to do most anything you can dream of. There is even a set of diets based on people’s blood types.

Do people really need to eat different diets based on their individual requirements? Let’s look more closely at this. What could make the difference between 2 people’s requirements for a diet? There is the blood type as mentioned above, there are many other biological differences such as hair color, eye color, skin color, height, sex, ethnicity, and many many others. There is also the big one that is mentioned over and over again and that is metabolism.

Sure people have different rates of metabolism, this is a fact but science has shown that the biggest range between the person with the highest metabolism and the lowest is only about 2%. That’s not really enough to make much of a difference for most people. To say that someone who has a fast metabolism needs a completely different diet than someone who has a slow one is just not true.

The difference is so slight that it is almost as insignificant as a rounding error. So why do so many people feel that the diet that is right for humans as a species is not right for them. For one reason most people feel that the food they eat (which in most cases is very unhealthy and addictive) is the best and only food they should eat. Trying to tell them what they are eating is hurting them is like telling a Christian that Jesus never existed.

Big business is very aware of this and they will set up marketing programs to reinforce to these people that what they are eating is absolutely healthy and that they are doing the right thing. This is just what these people want to hear and they are happy. That is until they get health problems later on in life.

Saying that the human diet is as individual as the person themself is like saying that a horse in one family must eat differently from a horse in another family. This is absolutely absurd. Every horse on the planet earth has the same body, organs and digestive system and they were all designed to thrive on a diet of grasses. They all have the long neck to reach down to a fresh field of greens to chew on the grass which they love. The same can be said of all other animal species.

Why would the human species be any different? Are we from a different planet than earth? This is just an excuse that people use to stay on a low quality poor diet that they claim is the best for them as they are an individual and they have a slow metabolism and green eyes.

The facts and truth are very different from this belief, all humans once converted over to a natural ‘human’ diet will thrive and perform better than they could on any other diet. The kind of diet that humans should be eating is mentioned in other diet related blog entries here. Forget about trying the blood type A diet and all the rest of that nonsense!
