For the Women
Most women who are still below menopause have their monthly cycles. There are often vast differences from one woman to the next as how long their menstruation period lasts and what happens to them before, during and after the period. Sometimes the periods will stop for a time and start up again. Often this happens when the woman is doing a lot of physical exertion.
When a woman is training to participate in a sporting event she often will experience this. In some cases the cycles stop for years and even for the rest of life. On average however women experience a menstrual period ranging from a day or two to as long as a week or so. This is seen as normal to most women as this is what they experience and most of their friends and relatives also experience. Even when asking a medical doctor about this, both male or female doctors, the answer they will give will be that this is normal.
Normal is relative, popular and common yes, but normal no. The human body has certain means to rid itself of the toxins that it picks up in the course of a day. These toxins come from many places. Probably one of the most common is metabolic waste or the waste that comes from the everyday activities of the body. These activities include breathing, digestion, cell creation and death, energy creation, muscle usage, and many other activities. When these activities occur there are waste products created in the body which need to be removed.
Besides the metabolic waste there are toxins that come in from the environment such as the air, which goes into the lungs, material that touches the skin and gets absorbed (for example makeup products and lotions), and most importantly from the foods and liquids that are ingested. If you do not live in a polluted city and breathe clean fresh air all the time, that is great but many people can not help but breathe whatever air is in the city that they live in. Everyone can avoid covering their body with toxins such as those in makeup products and skin lotions but this is such a common activity that it is accepted as generally safe.
It is not in fact a good idea to put anything on your skin except foods. As much as 65% of anything that is put on the skin gets absorbed into the body. If you wouldn’t eat the product that you apply to the skin, you should not be applying it to your skin. Finally there are massive amounts of toxins found in the average person’s food. These can be from cooked foods, improperly combined foods, the condiments that are toxic but people insist on eating such as garlic, onions, peppers, and all of their relatives.
When these toxins overwhelm the body the elimination systems can not keep up with the work of disposing them. The usual means to eliminate them are either overworked or just backlogged so much that the toxins start to build up. The usual elimination systems for toxins are the skin, the lungs, and the digestion system. Women however have one more organ that is used on a monthly basis to eliminate waste. This is the menstrual period. Normally this would be only the ovum that was left unfertilized with some of the surrounding tissues and fluids.
For a healthy woman the elimination of this would probably take but a few minutes to maybe an hour or so. The amount of elimination should be very small. Due to the enormous amount of toxins in the body that couldn’t be eliminated through the normal elimination channels, the body will take the opportunity to use the menstrual cycle to remove some of this excess burden. This is why many women (read most) have menstrual cycles that last as long as 7 days or more when a healthy woman’s will last but a few minutes. What is normal is not healthy at all and what is healthy is not ‘normal’ at all.
