The Best Way to Defeat Illness

Filed under: Diet — hygienehealth @ 10:07 pm

We have all been ill at one time or another of our lives. We generally take being ill as an acceptable part of life. Who hasn’t had a cold or flu or in some cases it could be strep throat, pneumonia, or some other illness. Sure these are common to the average person in the world. What if I told you that there are people right amongst us that rarely if ever have even the slightest illness, they never had a cold in many many years (in some cases it could be decades), no flu, so sore throats, no sore anything! Would you believe them? Would you think that they were a freak of nature? Would you think that they are a lucky one in a million?

To answer these questions, I must say from my experience and knowledge that these people are special indeed but they are anything but lucky, anything but a one in a million. These people are living a life that is in agreement with the natural forces that we humans here on earth were born to live with. Most people have some basic understanding of history. Most of us were educated about the history of the country that we live in. We were educated in a few other historic facts as well, but most have not been educated in the history of man’s arrival to the earth.

Naturally the exact information about this is not really factual but it is based on scientific evidence. The best scientific evidence seems to describe the earliest man living in the equatorial parts of the planet. This must be the place where man started out because obviously there were no clothes, blankets or heaters to warm us. Humans basically had the skin on their backs and maybe a little more hair than we have now. This part of the world used to be very lush with rain forests and vegetation throughout.

There were trees growing everywhere with many wonderful fruits and greens of all kinds. These fruits were very plentiful and nutritious. There was practically no need to seek any other kind of food because these fruits suited man’s needs for all the nutrients that he needed as well as water as they were full of juice.  In fact these fruits were very different from those we find today. They had the most nutrients possible from the soil that was untouched by anything except maybe a few animals.

The fruits we have today have been modified and cultivated for millions of years to be in the form that made the most profit for the sellers. All of the nutrients that the human body needed were available in the fruits of the equatorial region. This is probably what originally brought man to the earth. The abundance of sweet fresh juicy fruits containing all of the nutrients needed for a healthy existence was the initiator of man’s arrival. No matter what your beliefs are, if it was a creator or just some evolution from other species, it really doesn’t matter, man was put there to eat the wonderful fruits and certain other plants.

He obviously didn’t have any weapons to kill animals or even catch them. He didn’t have any way to cultivate grains nor to find tubers berried under the earth. All he had was two hands that were perfectly shaped and designed to pick and hold fruits. His eyes were designed to see the wonderful colors of the ripening fruits and he could tell when they were at their peak of ripeness. His slow legs and awkward body were not designed to chase down animals. His teeth were perfectly designed for the biting into of ripe fruits and masticating them until ready to swallow. They are not designed to kill animals nor to bite into any hard roots or other hard plants.

Fruit is the food that man’s digestive system is designed for. All of our body craves sweet fruits. Even children before their behavior is tarnished by adults will crave and desire sweet fresh ripe fruits. I often hear when I am in the grocery store, a woman with her young children. The children plead with her to buy them fruit, but she will always answer that the fruit is not in season or they are not ripe yet. They always will divert a child’s interest in the natural foods of man to other foods.

Most cultures do not see fruits as a meal. In few traditions do people eat fruit as a main course but when man first came to earth, this was his primary meal. In fact this was his basic food and probably only food except for a small amount of some green plants and maybe some nuts or seeds. People who try to go back to this kind of eating often find that they gain a lot of energy, stop the rapid aging process that grips most of us, regain their health, protect themselves from acquiring new illnesses and just improve their overall health.

If you ask most anyone in the world what is a healthy food, most will tell you that fruits and vegetables are healthy. Sure some will say milk, cheese, water, certain meats, even bread or cereals but the majority will tell you that fruits and vegetables are the best for health. This is sort of an instinct as these are the only foods that are derived directly from nature and we do not need to do anything to them in order to eat them.

The best foods to eat are the ones that require the least intervention by man. This is a known fact because our digestive system needs a lot more energy to digest something other than a raw fruit or certain vegetables. If the food is cooked or if it is made up of complex molecules then our body needs to break these molecules down into their most simple structures in order to use them to feed our body. fruits which are ripe and fresh already are broken down to their basic most simple structures. These are the fruit sugars and fibers.

Fruit sugar is either glucose or fructose (a few fruits contain sucrose) which can be absorbed directly into our blood for the use as fuel to our body’s cells. There is no overhead needed by the digestive system, this means that we get nearly 100% of the nutrients of the fruit for the use of the activities of our body and almost no nutrient is lost in breaking down the food. If a diet that is very high in fruits is used, most of the illnesses that man gets will virtually disappear. If a 100% fruit and vegetable diet is used the number of illnesses will virtually go to zero (at least a very low number).

This is my first blog entry!

Today is March 21, 2007 and it is a sunny warm day in Southern California. If you were wondering what is going to be posted here in the future, it will be a lot of useful information on the various ways that you can improve your health without the need for any artificial products or medicines. I strive for the best in health and the least intervention by anyone but the internal workings of the body. Imagine that your body has it’s own little pharmacy and doctor built right inside it. Would you ever need to worry that it is taking too little of a certain vitamin? Why? It knows exactly what it needs and how much of it.

All you need to do is feed it and it will do the rest. What to feed it and when and other issues are what you can read about right here. As soon as you are ready to ask we are ready to answer.

Here is a brief introduction to the information that will be soon available right here. If you are already familiar with Natural Hygiene then you know what I am talking about. Natural Hygiene is a topic of science that considers a living entity as a total system that is fully capable of keeping itself at it’s top physical and mental condition as long as it is given the necessary environmental input. The input includes food, air, water, stimulation, exercise, internal and external thoughts and relationships, energy, and hope. If these inputs are all the necessary ones for good health the body will take care of the rest and it will maintain a condition that is known as health.

If some of these inputs become less than accetable for too long of a period of time there is risk to the health of the body. Most of the time this can be reversed with corrections to the inputs. This is also known as self-healing.

This is one of the wonders of the body that many people are not familiar with. A lot of people are brought up to seek medical attention at the first sign of distress or illness. This is usually the result of our early childhood training. Most of us can recall when we were still a young child and our parent or guardian took us to a doctor when we had an illness such as a fever or flu.

The doctor sometimes would look at our throat with his stick and ask us to say ahhh. He would hit our knee and test our reflexes, take our temperature and pulse. Then we would leave with the prescription and probably that night we were already starting to take some of the prescription. Nobody ever questioned the doctor as he was knowledgeable in his profession and he would only do the right thing to make us healthy.

Sometimes these prescriptions contained some chemicals that made us more sick than we were at the start. Sometimes these prescriptions did more damage than good, but we didn’t blame the doctor, oh no, it was probably something else that caused that. It was probably an allergy or maybe something we ate that day that interferred with the prescription.

Do we really know that the pills we were taking had any affect at all on us? Probably not. Possibly if we just stayed home and avoided food for a day or two we would be feeling a lot better. Taking the pills the doctor gave us made us feel that we were actively doing something about the problem, how can we sit idly by and do nothing?

In reality, doing nothing was the right solution. Pills and drugs and most other things that we get from doctors and pharmacies do not cure anything at all. Sometimes they can injure us and in some cases kill us, but they can never heal us. The body itself is the only thing that can and does do anything at all as far as heal our illnesses. Sure the pills might relieve the pain, unblock the sinuses, bring down the swelling and so on, but eliminating these symptoms is not the same as healing. The body uses these symptoms to heal itself.

Stopping them with a drug usually makes us feel better and we believe that the pill is healing us. This is absolutely false as the symptom might not be there any longer but the original cause of the symptom is still there. In many cases the pills will even prevent the body from finishing it’s work in healing the illness and the illness is left untreated. We feel ok but there is still an unresolved illness lurking in our body that will eventually need to be healed somehow.

The pills possibly suppressed the body’s healing system and stopped it from taking care of the problem. Often times this will result in a worse problem that is much more difficult to solve in the future.

Most of the world population lives by the same or similar rules. Almost every culture has some sort of medicine woman or medicine man who can heal people with either drugs, herbs, foods, sacrifices, prayers, ceremonies, or a long list of other things. There doesn’t seem to be very many cultures where the patient is taught that his or her own body is responsible to keep it healthy. The body will work hard to stay healthy but the only catch is that the person needs to take the responsibility to keep the body’s inputs as the proper ones that allow the body to do the healing and maintain health.

This responsibility issue seems to be a true human weakness, nobody is willing to take responsibility for themselves and their own behavior. We expect to be able to completely ignore the laws of nature and do very destructive abusive and terrible things to our own body and expect to visit a doctor or take a pill and everything will be alright again. The medical community encourages this kind of behavior implicitly as they rarely ever tutor patients in preventative methods to avoid illnesses. They are motivated to continue distributing medicines and cutting out pieces of our bodies as these two procedures are the most beneficial to their economic well being. Taking responsibilty for our own behavior is a simple and mature step but there are few that even bother to try.

The self preservation mechanisms of our body are very efficient. The body will attempt to protect itself from harm as long as it is still alive. In it’s attempts to keep itself out of harm’s way it will try to use as little energy as possible. Energy is one of the most precious commodities found in the body. There are two main uses of energy in the body and they are the digestive system and the brain. This leaves very little energy for the other systems to do their important work such as healing. Only when the demands of the two largest users of energy are not needing the energy can the rest of the body do the work it needs to do. This is often the reason why sometimes when we get sick and continue to eat and go to work it can take a long time to get over it, but if we stay in bed and sleep without eating or eating very little and easy to digest food we get over the sickness quite easily. It is this internal healing process that needs to do it’s work in order for us to keep our health. The problems occur because most people ignore this and abuse their body by eating a very unbalanced and undigestible diet, never take time off to rest, do not sleep enough, take many over the counter pills and prescription drugs, smoke, drink alcohol, use recreational drugs, and ignore the other important needs of the body. It is no surprise at all that the number of people who are visiting doctors and are admitted into hospitals is mushrooming out of control. The number of deaths of people who have not even seen their 50th birthday is extremely high. These people all had the internal systems in their body to keep their health but did not take responsibility to give their body the required inputs.

There is a lot of mis-information that is taken as truth. Many people are under the impression that their genetic makeup is to blame for their health and sickness. They believe that they are pre-programmed to have certain illnesses at certain times in their life regardless of anything else. People say that these things run in the family, their father had a heart attack when he was 50 so they will probably get one too. They take prescription medicines to prevent these occurences only to find out that there are side effects that will create other illnesses. The scientific evidence has shown that genes will not have any affect on our health if there is no trigger to turn them on. This sentence needs to be repeated, genes will not cause any problems to our health if they are not turned on. The triggers usually are the wrong environmental inputs, such as a bad diet, not enough sleep, not enough rest, and the others. This means that if people took responsibility for their own health they would rarely ever get the same diseases that run in the family. This means that children do not need to worry that their mom passed away from breast cancer when she was 40 years old. If the children just obey the laws of nature, even if they do have the culprit gene that causes breast cancer they will never even need to see a doctor if they understand the fact that they can avoid it by obeying the laws of nature and creating the right environmental inputs for themselves.

Most of the so called chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, lupus, multiple sclerosis, diabetes (both type 1 and type 2), psorisis, constipation, obesity, heart disease, cancer, strokes and many more can be virtually eliminated if the laws of nature are followed and we give our body the opportunity to clean and heal. Most of these diseases can even be reversed or at least partially reversed when the sufferer takes the right steps and starts obeying the natural laws that support life on earth.
